ADDED Three at Once! (2x 854 1x 855)

If the Unidrive on either 854 is in questionable condition, consider doing a later 6 or 8 speed swap. It becomes a whole new tractor - the one that Cecil & Elmer never made, but should have...... low range at WOT is great for using the snowblower.

Looks like a 36" curved deck - I find that style out performs the rectangular "suitcase" style.....

The serial number on the 854 is on the shift pattern decal.

I saw them on a trailer in the parking lot at my mechanic's shop.  He was parking the trailer there to show off the tractors and the :for sale: sign for the seller who is a relative of his.  Of course while driving past, I saw them.  I called my mechanic and he told me to stop over on way home, which I did.  And that there's the backstory.

Nice haul, no need to leave any empty space on the trailer.                :text-coolphotos:

I did a three for one trip years back, had to take the tires off one of the RJs to get them both in the bed of the little Dakota.

As a retired 61-year-old who inherited 4 of my Grandfather's Wheel Horse tractors, I found a valuable resource in this forum. Here, I connected with Bob Parks (Racinbob), who at the time lived nearby and kindly agreed to help me identify all of them. I ended up keeping the 1964 Model 854 and sold the others. The 854 is a solid, primarily original tractor, and I've been using it since I was 6-years-old. I also had the RM-364 mower deck attachment, which had not been on the tractor for many years. Once again, this forum proved its worth as I could identify and obtain some attachment parts that I was missing. Last week, after some adjustments, I put the mower deck to use and mowed nearly an acre of grass without any issues. The sense of accomplishment in identifying and restoring the equipment was truly inspiring, and I felt like I was a kid again.

As someone who doesn't consider themselves 'mechanically inclined,' I've grown and learned much through this project. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of those who guided me and showed me that with the right support, even the most daunting tasks can be tackled.

1965 Wheel Horse 855 with 42" blade and chains

      Runs good
Sheet metal is very straight, great candidate for restoration.
      Missing Belt guard
Will sell tractor by itself for $500 without blade and chains
Blade is straight and lots of cutting edge left... just a little rusty.

Text, call, or email with any questions. If you call and I don't answer please leave a voicemail with your name and number. Thanks!

These belts have been hanging in my garage since last used I believe there off a 754 I used to have. Bought them new and didn't use much.
Don't know why I took them off. Some fraying on top in a few places from use, also don't know why but selling as is and photo'd. 20.00 shipped if you can use them.
PM for PayPal info or questions. 16" ID approx.
