Easton Rich 677 #1 Posted Sunday at 02:36 AM Bought a 520-H and a 656 today, kind of impulse buys, but I’m happy! The two are getting delivered tomorrow. What should I expect? Lee1977 7,294 #8 Posted Sunday at 05:43 PM (edited) Be sure to remove the engine cover and fender pan and clean all the cooling fins. The Onan moves a lot of air and will blow dirt and grass in to fill the fins. When change the oil filter make sure the half circle under the filter is clean of oil. The sheet metal is pretty soft and you could get the dents out pretty easy with a rubber hammer/metal hammer and a block of wood. I fixed a pushed in nose on a spare hood like that. The dent in my 312’s hood was significantly worse before I massaged the hood on it.The fenders on the 520 look decent and could be fixed the same way. peter lena 9,340 #21 Posted 34 minutes ago @lynnmor picked up on your clean carb , issue , ever think about eliminating it ? years ago , was in the same , regular spot , consistent fuel hose , break down , change out all related rubber hose , cleaned every hold / build up area , been adding ounce or two , to every tank top off , of fuel STA BIL , guess what ? no debris in tank , filters , or carb . have filter close to tank , always clean / clear second filter just before carb , also clean / clear , carb is always clean / clear , basic trial for , ELIMINATION , same set up on my 3 units , also home generator , instant starts . just an opportunity , to correct that , by the way , I use , regular ethanol gas, no fuel / carb debris , pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
