RandyLittrell 3,942 #1 Posted September 11 I have been working on my little shed at home and remembered how Dad would always put Masonite(tempered hardboard) down for a nice work surface. The great thing about it is it cleans up nice and when it gets too messed up you just pull it up and put down a new piece!! The 1/4" 4'x8' sheet was less than $25 I am still organizing this shed at my house since I got it a couple of years ago. My shop is 9 miles away, so I have to have stuff here too! 8 8

lynnmor 8,060 #8 Posted September 12 Put a coat or two of polyurethane on that Masonite before using it and it won't absorb oil and grease. 4

WHX?? 52,842 #10 Posted September 13 (edited) Excellent Idea Randy. My top is just 2 x 8s and the guy that built it must not know how to use a level. It tips to the front so bad a socket will roll & fly right off. I think he just wanted a drain for when he spills his beer on it ... @Pullstart notice how organized his tool boxes are?? Treepep 806 #12 Posted September 28 Also... Dad told me clutter was a sign of genius Um no sir I would always say. Clutter is a sign of clutter. we are who we are. I enjoy your organization Sir! Plenty of intelligent humans like him that are not organized. Not my kinda party. I like to know where my uh.. T-12 locations are. vehicle, other vehicle, toolbox, other toolbox, and peg board. Welcome to borrow, it comes back clean and undamaged and goes to the correct location.. Period
