953 nut 61,715 #2 Posted September 11 In the Mountains of Western North Carolina the dogwoods have begun to turn and the poplars are beginning to shed some leaves. Second week of October seems to be the height of the colorful leaf season and each species takes its turn until mid November when the red oaks dominate the landscape. I generally do leaf grinding / sweeping three times during the fall because the accumulation of leaves is so great. Lots of seat time. 3 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
