Another BBT woodstove refinishing project

I've posted a few pics of Trina's latest woodstove restoration project. 

This'n is a Timberline. 

It's now located in the new basement apartment for her momma.

That took an already cool stove to a work of art.

That teamed up with a ceiling fan will heat that area ...and more.

Wow - I started at the bottom and was scrolling up... I thought that was a brand new stove until I got to the "before" pictures. 

 

That is amazing.  What did she use besides acetone and a wire brush?  Or is that a "trade secret" ?

As far as I know that's all. I'll check and report back.....

 

That's the same method we use for rust removal on the metal tractor parts as well.

No ceiling fans needed here. Under 8 ft ceilings and well insulated on both floors. That way the hot or cold air stays in the area that the current occupying human intended.
