Marshy_Man 2 #1 Posted August 30 I have been finally been making progress on my C121 automatic project. I bought a new drive belt after measuring the old belt. I put the belt on and it seems to be extra long. Of course I can just buy another belt to correct this problem. My concern is however, the belt is tight to the tower, to the point where it is rubbing against it. I may have the engine mounted in the incorrect manner. I'm not sure. pfrederi 18,810 #2 Posted August 30 (edited) Belt goes under the idler pulley.. use a long straight edge from pump pulley to engine pulley see if idler lines up.
