Taking some parts from a M10 Kohler and seen one of the flywheel magnets was missing.  Looks like it never was installed from the factory. Never noticed this before.

With poles missing maybe the magnets don't matter either?

Does your Magnum 10 have a gas tank attached to it?

Kohler M flywheels came with a few different magnet layouts so it wouldn't surprise me.

On a WH M10 early on they came with at least two different charging system, a dido 1.25 amp system and a 3 amp system. depending on the model. so magnet count and stator or going to be different.
