nylyon-(Admin) 7,995 #1 Posted August 9 I had to step away for a little bit. Found out that my best dog Milo has cancer and was given days to weeks to live. We unfortunately had to cancel our vacation, and put all trips on-hold for the big guy. My other dog has cancer as well, but has a little more time than Milo does. So been spending a lot of time with the dogs, and not being able to go on vacation decided to brush off the old boat sitting in the back yard for the past 6 years It took a LOT of work to clean it up, replace the bellows, fix the engine, trailer and a host of other things. My oldest daughter gifted us a slip on Candlewood lake in Connecticut, so we can get out occasionally. Milo is still hanging in, and we are enjoying the time we have left with him. Now that the massive boat work is completed, I hope to spend some more time here and get some hats out the door. If you read this far, Camo hats are available in the store and I will order some of the others shortly. Apologies for the delays on this, I needed the time though. 4
adsm08 3,338 #2 Posted August 9 Sorry to hear about the doggos. We went through that a few years ago. Our one lab died from a very aggressive bone cancer. He went from pretty much OK except for a lump that the vet said was a fatty lipoma at Christmas to unable to walk and the vet telling us there was really nothing she could do and putting him down on Jan 31st. 5 minutes ago, nylyon said: Camo hats are available in the store This however is good news. The wife stole mine tonight, and she looks good in it.

nylyon-(Admin) 7,995 #6 Posted August 10 Thank you, fortunately Milo has not passed yet. His days to weeks has been almost 2 months now. Pepper will be able to have some surgery to hopefully help her, thankfully our third “little guy” is healthy! Chase aka Little Guy is the big dog on the left.
