Hello everyone!

What do you think? I plan to have a look.

A non running garden tractor with a hydrostatic transmission is a shot in the dark. You have no way of knowing the condition of the transmission so I would consider it to be a $ 100.00 value, no more.

All depends on condition. The condition in the pic seems relatively rust free. That is always good. The model could be called less than common, but it isn't rare by any means.

The 1075 was part of the series of first hydros made by Wheel Horse in 1965. It's a Sundstrand transmission, commonly referred to as "hydrogear", and was used up until the early 1970s. If you can find the parts, the old Sundstrand hydros can be rebuilt unlike newer Eaton hydros.

A short frame hydro with 10hp is pretty neat in my opinion. My only concern would be that it appears to have been at least repainted in the past. Not a deal breaker at all, just something that would make me look more closely at it before buying. And of course as @953 nut mentioned, the hydro is the part you can't check without it running. If that old Kohler K241 has compression, it will run. Just no method to verify the tranny in the same way.

Good luck regardless. Looks better than any machine I ever started with. Just check it out as best you can.

Thanks a lot !

I resent a larger picture it comes with a deck as well. Not far from my place 45 mn to the place. The owner lady said her husand had for 10-15 years(!) - no run and keep in the ban for so long - but he never had a chance to look at it, his has not been well.
