mrc 953 #1 Posted July 25 i know on a 520H there is a thin plastic/teflon spacer between the hub and tranny case. i am working on a friends C160 hydro and i have to pull a hub to replace a leaking seal . i do not see a plastic spacer. should there be one? thank you mike 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ebinmaine 72,672 #2 Posted July 25 We've worked on several hydros from the 1970s here. None had the washer. But... that's 45 to 55 years of degradation too. Maybe worn off? 953 nut 59,997 #4 Posted July 25 Transaxles with Eaton 1100 transmissions did have this thrust washer, though there are probably many that no longer have them if the hub was ever removed. They are in place to protect the axle seal from contacting the hub. You may be able to get them from TORO, or Parts Tree, TORO part # 106826 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
