Pullstart 66,519 #1 Posted July 9 Waldo would be proud, the flip flop kid struck again! Loading a sickle mower, I decided I should see if I can still feel my toes. 1 1

stevasaurus 23,274 #5 Posted July 9 And this little piggie cried, "wee wee wee" all the way home. Could have been..."and then there were 4". 2

Bill D 2,246 #7 Posted July 9 I had a neighbor that used to push mow his lawn, on a hill, in flip flops. He got away with it. I always wear boots when working with power equipment.
kpinnc 14,552 #8 Posted July 9 Kevin, I want to joke like everyone else but I can't. Not today anyway... I hit my middle finger this morning with a hammer. A BFH and against the anvil side of my vice. For some reason, this only happens to me when I get frustrated enough to draw back and really give a good wallop. Said a few choice words, quite loudly. Performed my own version of a sobriety test, probably faster than the official version. Needless to say, today's tinkering is at an end.

It may be a good idea to have it looked at professionally in case any remediation would help recovery. 1

That might be one time I’d suggest it

Had it been any further back, I'd already have been on the chair of shame at the ER. All I got was fingernail and the end of the finger. ...and one ruined pair of shorts! 14 minutes ago, Pullstart said: Many a time, I’ve had to tell myself out loud to walk it off. It happened about 10 minutes before I saw your toe! Needless to say, my mind had not returned to it's normal speed limit.

I mangled a finger behind the nail and it took months for that deformed misshaped nail to grow out. And it refused to stop aching. The day I finally trimmed the last of it off was a good one. FWIW, DMSO might help.

Ok, so I thought the “typo” was deliberate and part of the humor.
