Hiking on Mt Caribou in Evans Notch ME. LOTS of pics!

This was the largest mountain I've tackled in several years. 

 

I feel GOOD!

 

7.09 miles. 

2050 feet Elevation gain. Substantial !!

There's more than a lifetime of beautiful things to see right here in this country. Maine is certainly near the top of the list. For us anyways.

You know how I feel about Maine !!  When I see these pictures that you post here Eric, it makes me Home Sick !!  I remember the 39 months that I got to call it Home like it was yesterday.  There will always be a soft spot in my heart for that state.  Thanks for posting those pictures Mate.  I can't tell you how many times I fished for Brook Trout in streams just like that.

What was the elevation on that USGS marker?  Looks like it was worn off.

I believe this one is 2840 Feet

My days of hiking mountains are over.  Great photos and lucky you for being able to amble about the peaks.
