The obsession..

Just like guitars..amps...Harleys..now Wheel Horses..!

Well...I could not resist...I just bought an '84 312 8 for $200.00..complete with books..extra belts..mower deck ..snow plow..and tire chains..all in pretty good shape..

The Rub..it has not run in a year..the starter went out..so there it sat in a pole barn every since.

Now..should I have the starter rebuilt or get a new one?

Also the guy removed the ignition switch..he said he was going to use that and the seat on another tractor..but never got around to it..hmmm.

So..I don't know exactly what I have yet..but for 200 bucks..it can't be bad

We had 2 WH's when I was a kid..a 312-8 was the last..so it's cool to kind of re-connect

I saw that this morning. With the M ser. engine I dont believe it is a 84' and the number did'nt match up to any of my searches.

Your model # 21-12K806 is a 1989. It has the correct motor, you misread the S for a 5. The motor is a M12S-471527. Good luck with it.

Thanks so much for the info..and the well wishes everyone..I used the '63 L Ranger to tow her into the garage..sadly it's about time for work..and Saturday is booked as well...well..maybe Sunday I can play :scratchead:
