mrc 963 #1 Posted June 11 local guy calls me today. he got my number from the auto parts store. they know i'm a wh guy. local guy says he has a 310-8 with 37 inch sd deck. i never had a 37 sd deck so i do not know where to send him for a belt. he said it was a 6 sided belt. from the cross chat on RS i said "yeah i think that is right" i urged him to join this site. i told him i would try and get an answer from you guys and report back. thank you in advance for any help regards mike Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Brockport Bill 2,011 #3 Posted June 11 i have had a 37" s.d. deck with my 312-8 since 1989 -- terrifc mower - mine has bagger also -- belt is # 111178 - be sure he checks the mule -- be sure it is correct pulleys for that belt. Bill Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Brockport Bill 2,011 #4 Posted June 11 one other note Mike for him - i have lift blade on mine for the bagger to function properly -- if he has bagger which is what those 37s are designed for ( although not required )... then he will want that lift blade design - - Also be prepared .. the belts are $$ expensive - also suggest he carefully read the manual for the belt deflection between mule and pto at 1 inch so that belt does not "roll over" or "twist" or it will wear quickly as well as not function properly.
