NEED SOME HELP

Did a multimeter test on + of coil it's at 12.01 or 12.11 on run grounded to block

I had a small leak form

in my 701 tractor with a Carter N  carb.  I had to coat it with JB Weld on both sides even though I could not see light thru the hole!

 

I would make sure your coil is good if you are now having starting issues.  Electrical system checking sounds like what you need to do next!

Did a coil check it held 12 volts with the key in run position

Maybe I will break down my carb one more time clean and triple check and throw it in the ultrasonic what would be the optimal cleaning kerosene diesel? Last time I used just fresh gas and let it cycle through the cleaner a bunch

As someone who had an ultrasonic short out and ground to the housing in spectacular fashion...id advise against using anything flammable.  I use a 30Liter model, 1 gallon Simple Green; 1 gallon purple power, 1qt MasterStages 2020, 60⁰C for 45 minutes cleans most everything, 80⁰C for 90 minutes removes most rust and lifts paint.

Spark you have. You can simply stop fretting about electrical connections for now.

Gas is getting TO the carb (and leaking), but you DON’T know that gas in the proper amount is being drawn into the engine. The carb is where you have to concentrate.

Is the fuel leaking around the joint between the bowl and the body? If yes, the rubber seal is compromised or not correctly installed.

Is the fuel leaking out through the air cleaner? Then the float valve isn’t closing off the fuel flow.

If you are determined to throw money at the problem, buy another 3-year carb but when you install it make sure to use NEW fuel line and a NEW fuel filter.

Well I did just installed the new carb and new fuel lines. Still not start. lost

If you spray some carb cleaner or gas into the carb then try to start it it should  fire and run for a few seconds...does it???

Just a question never tested the ignition coil ? I'm getting spark tho no doubt.

If you were getting spark (and at the right time) she would run for few seconds after you sprayed carb cleaner/gas into the carb.  After extended cranking pull the spark plug...is it wet???

No never pull the whole head or just the top to see valves ? What would that tell me and could it be the ignition coil or no because I always get spark

Hold your hand over the carb while you crank do you feel significant suction??  Something is amiss.  Spraying gas into her and cranking she should fire Not trying to run means no spark,wrong timing or inadequate compression (stuck Valve)

If you have spark, and fuel, and compression you should get something out of it.  Pull the plug, put your finger on the plug hole...crank it, you should feel it suck then pop your finger off.

Yes I do feel suction on the front of carb but it's so hard to tell if I feel any on the spark plug hole I just covered it with my thumb I wanna say no suction on spark hole but definitely on front of carb I will try spark plug hole a few more times see if it feel anything

It should try to blow your finger off the plug hole while yo are cranking...

Well pulled the head and this is what I got a bent valve and a screw on the top of the piston

Bingo. Piston looks okay but that valves seen better days.  Possibly an air filter housing screw, or a butterfly screw.

 You replace bent valves there is no fixing.  Will need to check the valve guides.  Intake valve looks pretty crusty.  I suppose you could clean it but I would get a new one for that also.
