Horse Newbie 7,394 #1 Posted May 26 Hey guys I have not had my hub caps off my 1994 520H since I powder coated the rims and hub caps. I don’t want to scratch the caps or rims getting them off to grease. Trying to get her ready for The Big Show. Any suggestions or how do youse guys do it ? JCM 10,165 #2 Posted May 26 (edited) If you have 2 holes in the rim for wheel weights take a wooden dowel from the back side and gently tap one then the other. Place a towel or cardboard on the outside for the hub cab to land on or you can catch the cover with you hand while tapping it. Works for me.
