New complete idler assembly

Had an accident and the tractor wasn’t even running. It literally rolled into a tree and ruined the mower deck belt tensioner.  It’s bent bad.  I’m hoping I can find another one.  Not sure bending it back will fix it. Gonna look closer this weekend.  The brake is not holding as well as I thought.  One tree in the yard and it found it.

I will get a pick in the next day or two.  I need to see if any parts can be a saved.  It was so bashed up it will take some work to get it off the front of the tractor.  I think the slide release may be broke too.

@stvski80085 , use the opportunity  to enhance / TOTAL FUNCTION  , typical decks I see are like a sled drag , for resistance , and quiet  rotation , picture of your  issue would help , pete

So I haven't looked up part numbers yet.  This is the main damage so far.  I can fix the other I think.

Did you try looking on eBay? There are some attach-a-matic parts listed on there.

The front tach-a-matic brackets are fairly common.  Check with some of our vendors in the vendor section - Wheelhorse Parts and More, A-Z Tractors, K&B Horse Parts to name a few.

Then there is always a new piece of 5/8 cold rolled, an angle grinder, a BFH, a welder, and some time.  It is bent, but if one were really determined, it could be fixed.  Replacement would be far easier, though.

I ordered one off eBay last night.  Might try repairing this one at some point.  Never hurts to have extra’s. 😀
