Well the tractor is done! Still got to add the decals but it’s pretty much done now,

Nice!! How is the gear drive deck?? Both @squonk , @Handy Don and myself have spent time "dialing in" the gear mesh gaps after installing new needle bearings & seals to get a quiet, smmoth running deck. Fun times !!

Well it works but the hangers wore out and I’ve never rebuilt the deck it did now 3 acres for 40 years so I’m surprised it’s in the condition it’s in

For that deck, maintenance is the key. Keep well greased, clean under the deck often, especially if the grass is wet. I have the same deck and love the cut it gives, even better than my 42" RD recycler on the C160.

I agree. All the decks I've used over the years the 60s RD decks are my favorite. Noisy as all get out, but the cut and the clipping distribution can't be beat.

Looks good.        :text-coolphotos:        Unless you used a hardener in the paint you should allow it to cure for a month or so to prevent lifting.
