Ed Kennell 40,689 #1 Posted May 3 My neighbor stopped to tell me his Mrs. had some tomato plants ready for me. I noticed this on Barney, the 1800 lb Belgian. He must be the deluxe model, comes with a tool kit. Please remember....this is a family show. 2 5

SylvanLakeWH 27,723 #3 Posted May 4 Aaahhh... one of those very rare metric adjustable wrenches... I can see the wear marks right at the 10 mm line... 1

Pullstart 64,873 #8 Posted May 4 I’ve got an adjustable wrench welded to a chain, welded to my welder cart. It helps to keep it nearby, flexible, and permanent.
Ed Kennell 40,689 #9 Posted May 4 (edited) OK, the wrench is not used to adjust Barney. One machine plants the corn seed, lays an irrigation line, lays a sheet of plastic, and plows dirt over the edges of the plastic to hold it in place making a temporary greenhouse. Several weeks later when the corn has grown 5-6 " and is pushing the plastic, another machine slits the plastic with a rotary knife(coulter wheel) and plows the dirt back off the edges of the plastic. Then another machine pulls the plastic and rolls it on two collapsable reels for recycling. Slit plastic ready to be pulled . The 12" adjustable is used to make machine adjustments. Barney just had a convient hook on the harness. Edited May 4 by Ed Kennell 1
