Um, actually I think those are regulated by the NFA and owning one without the proper permits is a felony.

Spoil sport. 

I suppose you'll say bad things about my 50 cal, my electric gun (out of an A10), and my collection of mortors and rocket launchers.

To be fair I believe the NFA is blatantly unconstitutional and that ATF should be a convenience store, not a law-enforcement agency. I think the plain-text meaning of the 2nd is "if you can reasonably keep it in your home, pick it up, and walk around with it by yourself it should be legal.

 

As for the squirrel hunting part, I'll stick to m .22s.
