Not with rib tires, but you can feel it with turfs.

I think I'm finally figuring this rustoleum paint out. Even with hardener it cures like bovine feces! :rolleyes:

In other words, very slow!

Been a couple weeks since I shot this hood, and during lunch I broke out the buffer for a second attempt. It's much better now and while not perfect, at least now I understand what to expect.

Minimum 2-3 weeks to cure enough to polish. :angry-banghead:

Best custom work that I have had the liberty to view, greatly impressed!

puts me in mind of “cyclops “

Thank you!

The bracket for the weights was originally made to fit under a hood that stuck out a bit, and to fit the front hitch. The bracket was made to be easily swapped from my Bronco over to a classic. Other than being crazy heavy it works very well. This tractor has a much shorter hood and that bracket sticks out too far in my opinion. I may make a shorter bracket for this one. Two of these weights are plenty anyway. All 4 are about 110lbs.

The rear hitch is the last part on this machine. It's gonna be a couple weeks before I get that finished, but I hope it's gonna work out.

I made a bracket for suitcase weights that can be transferred front to rear but it’s for a Snapper for ballast using the wheel horse finish mower.

Amazing what difference a hundred lbs can make in steering!

Got part of the rear hitch work done. That being said, it's a bit odd...

I despise trying to get my tiller mounted with those flip down locker cam things. Get one side in, but never both. I need a third hand.

So I transferred a belly hitch to the back for my tiller. Now just flip the lever and she locks in place on both sides. I had to make the lock mechanism wider, but it works so far. It is 1/2 inch lower than the OEM rear hitch from the axle but I think that will be ok. The Deestones make it look lower as well. It's also an inch further back towards the rear than OEM, so I'll need a new belt. Mine was shot anyway...

The other part of the hitch will be the lower pivot for the 3 point arms. More on that in a few days...

I hope it works well. This will hopefully be the "go to" machine for all my gardening stuff.

The mid-hitch mechanism really is versatile and this was a great idea for an application!

I used one on the front lift I added to our 518-H++ oriented to handle heavy “down and back” loads.  Here it is during the build.

@Handy Don

@kpinnc

I'm quite sure I have at a least 2 or 3 of the front and middle hitches.

I'll take a poke around sometime.

If you get a chance would you be willing to get me some measurements of one of those weights ?

I probably have a handful of midmounts and a couple fronts if you need them. I will try to dig out what I have this weekend. Also have a set of wider ones for a D series. I’ll put it all in a box. Never know.

Just let me know sir. I'll take it!

I've used them in many applications. Not to mention they will wear out on larger implements. Think 60 inch decks and such.
