rjg854 12,864 #76 Posted January 20 3 bucks out back this morning so the pictures were out a window and they were @ 75 yards off. 2 were sparing and the other one was always out of frame. I tried to crop the pictures so they are what they are 1

WHX?? 55,263 #86 Posted 14 hours ago Month ago found a nice buck off the side of the road going east towards the river. He was quite dead and frozen in the cat tails. Finally warmed up enough I could get him out with the grapple. One a two things coulda happen to him is he either got hit by a car (unlikely) or the ahole neigbor nobody likes shot him during bow season and never bothered to recover it. Likely since this guy is a horn hunter and these weren't big or perfect enough. We seen him tooling after dark in a sxs looking for it. I shoulda been a bigger ahole and called the game warden to investigate. It's highly illegal to shoot one and not make every effort to add it to bag. So to try and make a good thing out of it I took it out to a some cut marsh grass and planted him with a trail camera posted. I also cut the horns off to do something with them don't know what yet. Day later I woulda cut into him looking for a broad head but he was gettin a little stinky and critters were already feasting when he was in the cat tails. 2
