Lower steering shaft support block ready to install.

Block has new bronze bushings installed top and bottom.

I used Home Hardware brand international harvester red for most of the tractor parts either by spray gun or using aerosol cans for small parts.

For areas where a higher quality finish is requires such as the rear fender and the hood (which will be next summer), I used Tremclad farm and implement international harvester red.

Of course I used primer made by the same manufacturer under the paint applied.

For the black I use Home Hardware gloss or semi-gloss as required.

I'd love to learn how to do this eventually

I've done it.  I'm sure you could too.  You have the drill press for it now.

I’m not sure how many people are on this forum? Many, many people. But you sir are the most thorough in your restoration work.

Perhaps the moderators can pin his restoration threads for future reference.

It's not hard, you just need the right drill press vice.  I'll have to take some pictures.

Next one of those blocks that I drill out and install bushings into will get well documented.

Likely next summer.
