Trouty56 567 #1 Posted September 10, 2009 The D-180 I recently purchased does not have an oil filter but has a plate instead. It is painted and bolted like it was original but I don't want to make that assumption. Could this be original and can an adapter be added if necessary? Your thoughts before I make a mess of things. Trouty56 567 #5 Posted September 10, 2009 Thanks!! For now it is not working very hard at all. Runs but stalls after a bit (which doesn't take long) and seems very rich when this happens. I set the carb screws where they should be and tried to tweak from there but it just seems to choke out. It idles fine but when I throttle it about 10 seconds it chokes. Hopefully, with the forums help, I can get this piece of history running and then work on getting some attachments. Looks like there are many options.
