The 2009 Leaf Beast

Electro 12 with a 7-2611 blower unit and a home built trailer. I just got it all put together yesterday and it seems like it will work just fine.

Jim did you fab the trailer up yourself?

Leaf pickup will deffinatally be a breeze with that setup.

The Harley looks good too. :scratchead:

Actually the trailer came with the blower. Whoever built it did a nice job, but I need to put some bigger/better wheels on it eventually.

Nice fabrication of trailer, I don't see a vent screen, I assume it is on rear??

A screen catches loose debris as well allow the blower to blow into the

trailer without backpressure-which decreases suction power. I'll have to

get mine set-up again. :scratchead:

Scott,

That tractor turned to be a real good runner. I thought about giving it a quick paint job, but I kind of like the faded red on it, gives it a little character. Besides, leaf pick up gets pretty dusty.

Red Iron,

The vent is in the rear so it will blow all the dust behind the tractor.

I have News for you! They blow dust and ground up leaves everywhere, most of it goes down the back of your neck. :scratchead:

It's a dirty job, I know. This one should run a little cleaner than my other one though, the vent is 3 feet further from the driver's seat.

Nice setup there, looks like it will do a great job! Is that blower kind of rare? Although I was never actually looking for one, I've seen some other types out there, but I don't recall having seen one like that before. How is the pto drive setup, it is driven of the tractor right? Just guessing it is a hydro tractor only setup double pulley off the trans? Also just noticed you might be needing to upgrade the trailer wheels sometime?

That's good to keep the vent as far away from operator. Mine's on top,

but with a "hood" to direct the flow straight back. I know the vacuum

creates lotta dust. I usually run my vacuum one day after I mow, that way,

the "drier" clippings don't clog up the vent screen as quick.

Otherwise, have fun manicuring your lawn!! :scratchead:
