PTO clutch support screw torque

Hey all!

 

Replacing the drive belt on my 252-h. Anyone know the torque specification for the center screw when I put this pto clutch back on? I know it was on there tight it took a minute for the impact to break it loose. Thanks!

I would go to the torque limit that bolt can carry. Guessing 80-90 ft lbs but consult a chart.

Hi WHX! Where can I find said chart? I've looked and can't find one.

Just  bolt torque chart. You'll find scads of them.

A good one will have all sizes, fine and coarse thread & most common grades... even metric. 

A must have in the shop for unspecified torque values.
