Thor27 848 #3 Posted June 18, 2024 Thank you, but it's the torrington bearing next to that I seek.
squonk 45,051 #4 Posted June 18, 2024 Do you have the bearing no.? The number you gave is what I found. What engine are you working on?
Thor27 848 #5 Posted June 18, 2024 (edited) Thank you, it's for a M18 spec 24510 from a 418. I only have the Kohler number, 52 030 13-S, I haven't found a cross to any other bearing yet. It is #25 in the ipl for crankcase. Edited June 18, 2024 by Thor27 Add picture
squonk 45,051 #6 Posted June 18, 2024 I see E Bay changed the number I punched in and I didn't realize it. Any numbers on the bearing itself?
pfrederi 19,446 #7 Posted June 18, 2024 (edited) I didn't see any numbers while I had my M18 apart. it is a needle roller thrust bearing. I would measure the ID and OD and get it from McMaster You need to get two washers also Looking at the picture of mine the inner washer is probably standard from Mc master but not the outer brass looking one. Thor27 848 #8 Posted November 10, 2025 So just to follow up. I used the mcmaster Carr bearings and washers, the 45 mm #5909K19 and thick/thin #5909K92/4909K79 washers were identical to the 418 set I had. My friend turned a few non wheel horse m20 crankshafts with 1-1/8 pto ends to accept them.
