D_Mac 8,235 #1 Posted April 15 (edited) So I told you all how I picked up that little 108-5 Rear engine rider. I would like to replace the deck belt and I'm having trouble finding correct size. Does anyone have one of these and know the correct size ? Information I find here dosnt seem right. If you look at this photo it lists 3 different belt. The rider only has 2 belts period. One to drive the tires, other to spin the blade. It's only a single blade , one spindle deck. This list a deck drive belt and a deck spindle belt. 2 different sizes. Can't make any sense of it. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,509 #2 Posted April 15 Here is where the 112114 belt shows up https://www.partstree.com/models/33-08b503-108-5-toro-rear-engine-riding-mower-1987/pto-clutch-pulleys-and-controls-15/ Here is where the 110420 belt shows up https://www.partstree.com/models/33-08b503-108-5-toro-rear-engine-riding-mower-1987/spindle-pulleys-and-drive-belt-19/ Both from the same illustrated parts list. There are two different transmission drive belts listed also. This parts list must cover more than one tractor model with no indication of what they are. The same parts lists shows 8hp model 108-R, 8hp model 108-5, two 11hp models 111-5 and 12.5hp model 112C Here is the complete list https://www.partstree.com/models/33-08b503-108-5-toro-rear-engine-riding-mower-1987 There is a 7" difference in the mower belts. What length is the one you have? A copy of the original parts list would show the correct info but we do not have one.

D_Mac 8,235 #4 Posted April 16 Upon further inspection it is 3 belts and not like I originally thought. I need the belt that goes from engine to deck clutch. The drive belt and the belt that goes from deck clutch to spindle appear to be in good shape. So I think it's part # 112114 that I need. 1/2 × 40 v belt. D_Mac 8,235 #6 Posted April 17 I ordered one. Now the tricky part of getting under it to install it. I will lay it on its side after I remove the deck. Should be easier and safer then standing it up.
