Greg Barnett 1 #1 Posted April 11 My tractor will not go into gear. If its turned off i can move the shifter thru the gears but as soon as i turn it on it won't move. I was able once to get it in gear but i had to force it alittle but then it would not stop. I had to turn it off. Can anyone help me with this please. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,523 #2 Posted April 12 Sorry have zero experience with this model. Sounds like your drive belt is not stopping when you apply the clutch. There are belt guides when the belt is loose that are intended to force the belt slack to the engine pulley so it can slip. These guides should just clear the belt when it is tight. An incorrect drive belt length may be the problem if just replaced.
