canam1991 2 #1 Posted August 27, 2009 i want to put water in my tires should i put antifreeze in them or fill 3/4 of the way and leave room for ice expansion? :thumbs2:
big mike 13 #2 Posted August 27, 2009 I would not use plain water. It will freeze and it will also rust your rims. 1st choice would be Rim-Guard 2nd choice would be RV antifreeze 3rd choice would be automotive antifreeze cut with water and last choice would be windshield washer solvent. Notice I did not include calcium chloride?I will NEVER put chloride in a wheel for weight......it WILL rust the rims.

eagle854 0 #4 Posted August 27, 2009 I would definitly use some sort of antifreeze but to prevent any wheel problems I have allways filled tubes so the fluid never touches those rare wheels
