We finally had a wind free day and boy was it a beautiful day!!

Quiet and peaceful with birds singing while burning a brush pile and enjoying the sun!!!

It just doesn't get any better!!

You people that live down closer to the Equator than I do.....

I may be just a tiny slight little itty bitty amount envious

There's a little red dot inside the blue circle on the map below. That's the peak of Bill Merrill Mountain across the street from me. That red dot means NWS thinks that mountain will get 18 plus inches of snow this week.

Looks like the great grandchildren had a good time. I gave my 2 granddaughters a one-pound cholate bunny each.  Sugar high is one way to pay back my son.

Here's the latest from NWS.

We're now firmly in the 18 - 24 section.

I don’t suppose you’re a downhill skier, by any chance, EB1?  I’m just trying to look on the bright side of this.

No. No sir.

Not downhill.

Not uphill.

Not sidehill.

Bright side...?

Well we get to practice snowblower operation procedures ..... Again.

That’s not a bright side!
I dragged out my plow rig and ran it for 10 minutes around the yard “just in case” I need it.
Really hope I’m far enough south to miss it all.

Best I could do on short notice.

I was kind of hoping that we were going to have an early spring this year considering March was so calm and predominantly warm. I guess Mother Nature has different ideas.

:scared-eek:

Seems like you've always gotta get that one last blizzard, before Spring begins.  Our's is supposed to be mostly rain.

Here in Missouri I figure we get 15 "perfect" days each year.  There are just a few days each year that heat, cold, wind, or some other phenomenon  of nature doesn't interfere.  Those days, it just feels good to be alive.

From Elcamino/wheelhorse: "Looks like the great grandchildren had a good time. I gave my 2 granddaughters a one-pound cholate bunny each.  Sugar high is one way to pay back my son.

All that I would add is a harmonica for each granddaughter.  Bought a nephew a harmonica when he was a little squirt.  Brother-in-law still reminds me of that one.

And then... there is the surprise snow storm that adds an hour to my trip home. :D No worries, the snow is supposed to stop by 1pm tomorrow. Then 50's by the weekend.:thumbs2:
