wh500special 2,073 #1 Posted August 25, 2009 My house goes up for sale next week so I have been slowly trying to get rid of some junk around here. Another load of tractors is on the way to dad's barn tonight, but I was having trouble getting the last one loaded due to having 4 flat tires and a blown engine. The solution: I picked it up and stuck it sideways in the truck behind a 252-H w. deck and bagger, a pair of 48" SD C-series decks, a 42" 200 series deck, and a handful of other stuff. This boom pole has got to be the handiest attachment I own. Thought this might make for a fun picture. Steve
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #2 Posted August 25, 2009 Steve, how are you going to load the ford? I have a "someday" project to make something similar for the Charger. I would pivot at the rear balde hitch and would somehow rig up a winch to raise/lower the boom. I thought that I'd also have a cable connected to a hand operated winch on the pole. The big question in my mind is how much I could lift without tipping the tractor.
