charger nine mower deck

does anyone know if i can put a normal deck on my tractor or can i only use the gear drive mower deck from factor that has the big pulley on it and if i can what pulley set up do i need or is there a way to put a mule drive on it

what is the idler pulley on the quick attack i see on some older tractors would that work also

I've never personally tried to run the mid-mount tensioner assembly with a newer (Attach-Matic) deck and I don't think that it would even work due to mounting carriage/deck drive belt clearance issues.

If you have the correct style deck (1966 to 1972) and all of the tensioner pieces it would work fine.

If you're after a reliable and modern mower that you can use regularly and gives a nice cut then you should probably equip your tractor with the newer Attach-Matic hitches (including the front hitch adapter) and use the corresponding deck.
