Yesterday I resolved the engine hunting problem by taking the top of the carburetor off and spraying gum out into jets and also compressed air. I just used it today and it started hunting again.  I just brought this tractor so I think the gas was bad so I did my best to pump it out and replace it. I was thinking of getting a new gas filter and doing the same thing taking just the top off with the carburetor and compressor.

Check for any corrosion or scale in the bowl section, do a new fuel filter, gently blow out the lines.

Thanks.  Good idea about the corrosion.
