84 pro olds 0 #1 Posted August 22, 2009 Today I was mowing the lawn with my l-105 and I heard a loud bang and then it went away. So I kept mowing and on my secound pass I found one of my deck blades with part of the spindle still attached to it. I did not hit anything, the only thing that I can think of is that the two blades made contact. My question is where can I find spindles and new blades for this peferably mulching blades. TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #4 Posted August 23, 2009 You'll have to find a used spindle (post a "wanted" ad here at RS) and if you hurry you can get a good deal on a pair of blades HERE. To my knowledge, mulching blades do not exist for any of the old decks and really wouldn't do much good with the fully open back of the shell and lack of baffles.
