Joe leonardo 164 #1 Posted November 24, 2023 It says Kohler on the side so I'm guessing it is 12ph?
Pullstart 64,956 #2 Posted November 24, 2023 Kohler made 4-16 HP single cylinders. There are spec numbers on the engine telling it’s details, and there should be a tag on the tractor telling it’s model.
squonk 42,855 #3 Posted November 24, 2023 That's a big block. So if it's a original unmolested then it's a 10 or 12HP
rmaynard 15,964 #4 Posted November 24, 2023 I'd like to see the other side. Couple of clues I see: hydro, starter/generator (missing), floor boards, location of parking brake handle, makes me think it's a 1969 Electro 12. The hood looks wrong, and what's curious is the ignition switch on the left.

Toggle switch on the dash is for the electric clutch. Charger had a Tecumseh. 1971 Charger had a Kohler with new type starter. 1
953 nut 58,368 #7 Posted November 24, 2023 1969 Charger 12 I had a few years back had a switch for the headlights, manual PTO clutch and Kohler 12 HP engine with the newer type starter.
