Disaster? Plastic funnel tube fell in crankcase

So I had a stupid plastic funnel that I used to do oil changes that had a tube connected to the funnel part, I guess so the funnel could swivel, a slight angle to fit different areas. 
 

well, when I was taking the funnel off after doing my oil change on my C101, the tube part popped off and fell in the crankcase. Of course can’t see anything through that hole, tried for a while fishing it with a coat hanger, but no sign of it at all. 
 

perhaps I’ll be lucky and it just sits somewhere in the crankcase without touching any moving parts.

@Reddart   look up METAL SQUEEZE CLAW , got a long one to grab the leaves out of car grille area , also used it in a long reach situation , Walmart , or similar store , handy , Pete

I would not start that engine till I removed the plastic tube.          That would be like sitting on a time bomb with your fingers crossed.

Thanks for the claw tool recommendation. 
 

I have a usb endoscope somewhere if I can find it, hopefully that will also help me locate it to facilitate removal.

Does it have the square plug dipstick?  If so, 4 bolts hold the oil pan on, unhook the starter wire, slip the clutch and belt off, unhook the fuel line and cables...lift the motor up and off the pan.  Clean the pan, remove the old gasket and lay on a new one.  Probably an hour job...it sucks but, if that plastic gets up into the cam gear, governor, oil dipper, it can be a problem

Yes, I may try this if I can’t fish it out the hole. 
 

and yes, it has a square head threaded plug attached to the dip stick.

I wish there was a retro-fit to a normal dipstick

This problem gives you a good reason to drop the pan and give everything a good cleaning. I hate those dip sticks too. It's not because I have to unscrew them. I can't read the rods, especially when I have clean oil or tranny fluid which is all the time.
