Wheelhorse D-250 Distributor Pinion Gear Removal and Repair

Hi, I had a loose screw in my distributor and it cause it to seize and thus snap off the half moon slot that the distributor shaft sits in. Now I'm stuck and it requires a special puller /bushing removal tool which looks like a M20/2.0 pitch threads. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated. From the pictures below you can see the left half moon broken. I removed the broken piece. Any help and advice appreciated.

Found a 20mm x 2.0 bolt. Could you make a puller with that?

  That 60 mm long all threaded bolt and a couple washers and a spacer sleeve  should pull it right out.

Thanks, I think I get it. Get a small pipe diameter greater than the bushing, put a washers on top and thread the bolt in which should lift it out. 

I'll give that a try.

Hi, it's actually a 22-2.0 thread and seems very difficult to find. Any thoughts on where to find one?  I see in the repair manual chapter 4, drive gear replacement, it says to use special tool 90.45.261   seems like a needle in the haystack. Thanks again

Bummer....A 7/8 - 14 is close.   Might work with some handy file work.
