Hi everyone. I'm new obviously. I bought a 1974 c-100 last year. I had an older wheel horse that my dad bought when I was in high school and I missed it. Looking forward to the conversations.

You'll be in great company here!

Welcome.

It’’ll surely help to read over some of the older thread/posts in areas that interest you to get the flavor of how this place rolls. Lots of interesting folks with great information.

@c100rider that's a nice looking tractor.

Survivor or been restored?

It still has the original Nelson muffler and a usable 2 piece seat.

Any particular plans for it?

It's a survivor. I did repair and repaint the deck. It was missing the belt cover. I am still looking for the chute extension for it. I would like to tear her down and clean and repaint and rebuild. Not sure when I will be able to start that project. I dont have a garage, I'm working outta my basement.

Absolutely nothing wrong with working out of the basement as long as it's well lit, reasonably dry, and you are conscious of how to get things in and out of there unless you have to walk out door.

The size of the mowing deck that you have?

I have a couple of older ones that are no longer usable so I'm wondering if I have an extension you could use.

The deck is a 42 inch. I bought a chute from a guy but it's incorrect according to my manual. I'm looking for the extension that bolts on top of the deck that has the extra roller. You know what I'm about?

:WRS:   Nice job redoing that deck.  I like the accent with the black paint.

We don't use any of our Horses to mow so I'm not familiar with the deck setups.

I believe I have at least 2 or 3 nearly complete older ones though.

Handy Don

WH owners show up at a number of tractor and machinery shows -- mostly in the midwest and mid-Atlantic, with at least one show in Florida.

The Wheel Horse Collectors club runs a WH-only show the weekend after Fathers’ Day every year in Biglerville, PA.

You bet!

I'd have to verify solidity for you. I believe it's good.
