B&S Recoil .

Looking for a recoil like this or info on what would replace it . Seems to be attached by bolts and oblong nuts clamping the flywheel cover .

In the picture it looks like your spring gave up on you. This is a common issue that can some times be fixed with out new parts. It is quite common for the very end of the spring to break off at either end. Before you look for a new recoil, take this one apart & post a pic of which end of the spring broke. I may be able to coach you through a repair.

I believe I still have some nos ones but if not I should have couple used of that style

I took it apart it was my fault te rope knot slipped out. Thank you

Yes thank you , I put in  a bigger rope and knot but have not.  trimmed it yet , the recoil is working but it did not start yet
