Scott Gilmore 0 #1 Posted July 2, 2023 Replaced starter, worked a couple times, then battery and solenoid no voltage to ignition, just one post on solenoid...

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,503 #3 Posted July 2, 2023 Download this file. Each circuit has it's own diagram. Sounds like the 25 amp fuse has blown. 2

peter lena 8,072 #5 Posted July 2, 2023 @Scott Gilmore wiring issues are quite common , long setting , tight , chafing , wiring , corrosion , poor grounding , while you are in the electrical phase . improve the electrical rectifier , under the air filter lift off cover area . note the 3 prong oblong electrical hook up front of engine ? add a ground cable from battery ground cable point to corner of engine / frame left rear corner . also loosen up the 2 screws that hold down the rectifier to cooling tin mount spot , dielectric grease , to insure conductivity . start up amp gauge working ? charging ? you just insured engine block grounding to ensure rectifier , response . also wire cable wrap tight spots , take advantage of what works and enhance it . stay after it , pete
Scott Gilmore 0 #6 Posted July 2, 2023 No voltage, not low voltage . Dash won't lite up .can't find voltage anywhere but big lead on solenoid. If I jumper voltage to small lead it will turn over. No headlines or tail lites. Pulled wires on rectifier, no voltage.
Scott Gilmore 0 #7 Posted July 2, 2023 update got main wires crossed on solenoid when I changed it. Kinda helped putting them on right. Just seemed weird them crossing instead of going in " order"
