If you have an automotive style / battery ignition - the switch has to have an "I" terminal. = Sends positive power to the coil to run. If you have a magneto ignition - the switch has to have a "M" terminal. = Grounds out the coil to kill the engine. As long as you have the right style switch you can always reconfigure the terminals in the switch plug to make the new switch work on your tractor. 1 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
