how to set a clutch pedal on a 1961 wheel horse 701

i am try to install a clutch pedal for my wheel horse 701 but don't know how to.

First, be sure that you have sufficient brake lining to properly stop the tractor.16865144334904979907292766912152.jpg.4d7fd5adf432b9f13648779f6deb87f3.jpg Loosen or tighten the nut on the brake band rod until you can achieve full braking and still have the brake pedal in a comfortable position. 1686514541375510361559925098324.jpg.7d27ddc4cec2b4f9aa28016c79a22b24.jpg

The brake pedal position can be further adjusted by turning the rod in or out.

The other pedal operates the PTO, for the mower deck.

@Tucker - welcome!! The clutch / brake pedal is the one on the left. You NEED the drive belt guard to be installed for proper belt control to allow you to shift. NO shifting while in motion - stop, pick the desired gear and slowly let the pedal up... you need to stop to go to reverse... pedal part way down is clutch, all the way is brake (with clutch).
