Has a middle buster, no deck, incorrect seat, atv tires, is this the factory hydraulic setup?  It looks savable...but he wants 1400 and that seems high to me.

$1400 seems too high for me too! I’d like to see that middle buster though.

Not sure about your area. In my area for that price I would want it to be in top notch shape.

Just up the road here in GA I have seen them go for a lot less. Looks to have a few "non OEM" mods to it also.

Can't tell for sure from the picture but the hydro lift looks different than the OEM one on my C-160.

I would put it in the $600 - $700 range tops.

Hope it didn't sit out in the rain with the way that muffler is pointing.

What is up with that belt guard ?? Looks like the wrong one or the original is hacked.

That does look like the correct hyd. system.

No pto clutch either...he's out of the realm of being reasonable with his price and how the ad is worded he really thinks its great.

Agreed.

The implement is worth some. $200??

The engine ALONE is worth $300 or more in most markets.

It needs too much work for the value to be there.

And that exhaust....

That's a PROBLEM.

Tom, he originally had it listed as a 1960's model, I messaged him and told him it was a '74 or '75. Lot of money for that one even down here even if it is a C-160 hydro. If he sells it for that I would sell my '77 C-160 hydro which in is much better shape for $1600 and I'll throw in the 42sd deck, a tiller and a Brinly 10 " plow, hell I'll probably throw in a tub cart too.

I tried selling my 93 416-H with tiller, 42sd and low hours for 1200 a few years ago...not 1 offer.  Glad i kept it.

It appears the bottom is UP.     Up side down ??

Considering our current inflation,   $1400 in 2020  is worth around $700 today.     $700 is still too high.      Looks like a $300 project.

Lord...is it even conceivable that someone failed so miserably that they put the guard on upside down
