TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted August 6, 2009 I just realized I missed this. Has anyone heard from Ron lately?
kj4kicks 154 #6 Posted August 7, 2009 I stored his trailer for a couple days after the '08 show while he and the mrs went to visit their son. He told me then that soon afterward he was having some pretty serious lung surgery, and had accepted the fact that he may not make it through. I sent him an email several months ago, and also got no reply. I sincerely hope that he is ok, but I fear the worst.

DOC in Kentucky 178 #9 Posted August 7, 2009 Hey guys, was this the guy that had the little yellow WH converted to a crawler under the RS tent at the 08 WH show in PA?
nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #10 Posted August 7, 2009 I wasn't at the show, but I know Ron was there in the RedSquare area and his crawler is yellow so it was most likely him.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #11 Posted August 7, 2009 That was him, Doc. His two tractors were parked just behind and to the left of yours. (I only have a picture of his machines but I think Duke may have one of Ron & company)
DOC in Kentucky 178 #12 Posted August 8, 2009 Aww man, now that really sucks. I didn't know him well but he was a really nice guy. I was wandering why he wasn't at the show this year. The Wheel Horse collectors community lost a really friendly and heck of a nice guy. Rest in Peace, Ron !!!! and God Bless your wife and family.
HorseFixer 2,013 #13 Posted August 8, 2009 Awe man that really bites He was on here a few moths back when someone commented on his crawler. He mentioned that he had something wrong I think but I was hoping he would be on the mends! Well RIP Ron, we will all miss you! :ychain:
