Some where I read about using 40wt oil in a hydro to address a "slipping" issue. I can't find it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Most common oil used was either ATF or 10w-30. I have not heard of using 40wt.

10W-30 in a 520-H.  I use Castrol semi-synthetic high mileage oil with good results.

WHX??

Some where I may have heard this too but don't practice it. 10/30 syn if not atf gets my nod with no issues. If you are having slipping issues might be an underlying problem.
