bds1984 1,400 #3 Posted April 18, 2023 You can get an adapter plate from another Series II engine, install a new gasket with it, and rock-n-roll. You could always install that remote filter as well; my 520H with an M18S has a filter remote on it. A few years ago I installed a filter plate on a C175 I had at the time. bds1984 1,400 #4 Posted April 18, 2023 Oh, another thing, don't waster your money on a Briggs or Kohler oil filter. A WIX 51348 or similar filter can be had for much less than an OEM filter and is superior.
