Nice looking tractor. I have a 414-8 as my first Wheel Horse so that is what I will use as my bench mark. I really like mine and use it for all kinds of things around here.

:text-coolphotos:             Looks like new, all it needs is a set of Terry's "Patriot" decals.  Then all the kids will adore it.102_3340.JPG.eb33e746926bb1e97d9149e415fedfb9.JPG

Trans fluid is full and clean like it’s brand new. Motor oil is full and just as clean as the transmission fluid.

What is that clear stuff on the dipstick? I thought all of these machines had the mandatory black (original to the date of the tractor) sludge in the cases?

Good solid looking tractor!

Looking good Mike. Looks like that will be a keeper. They still sell Mokie? I remember my dad drank that back in the 60`s and 70`s.

Moxie. Oh yes!

I'm not a fan of the stuff but there's still a HUGE annual Moxie festival up here in Maine.

I had to look it up.

It's origins are tied to a Maine native.

Current production is done in at least 6 locations across the country.

Bedford NH and Worcester Massachusetts appear to be among them.

I think I bought a case locally here at one of the big name grocery stores. I rarely drink soda so this case will last me a couple years

May I recommend a set of custom decals from @Vinylguy I had him make me this set for the 416-8 I had. Loved how they looked. Nice pick up, enjoy it.

Mike,

that will be your favorite worker trust me. Imo the 414-8 or 416-8 will do anything you throw at them. They will not fail motors are bulletproof!
