Oil bath air filter off one of my 1054’s. Not sure if any other models used this setup. Nice shape and will include the three screws that hold it to the face or throat of your carburetor.
  $100 brought to the show.

Any interest in a couple gear drive decks?      Both turn, feel and sound OK.

The shell on this one is junk, but blades, gears, pulleys and shafts seem OK.

This one has one patched area, but seems operational.

Is this a 36”? My interest would be possible spare gears or cross shaft bearings. Good shells are hard to come by :)

Great. If it has beens stripped, there is one distinction between the ’68 and the pre-’68 models that matters:

If all five of these holes are the same size, then it is pre-‘68

If two of the holes are larger, then it is ’68.

Matters because the cross-shaft bearing supports on the ’68 have “dimples” where they hit the shell to help keep them correctly positioned (the blade support plate has corresponding “divots" that the dimples fit into). My working deck is a ’68 but what spares I have are all pre-’68. And I’ve already consigned two rusted out shells to the metal recycling.

Thanks for looking, Joe!

My goal is to have key spare parts, and ideally a backup, for my existing 36”. The geared decks do a great job, but they can be down for maintenance sometimes.
