Missing inspection panel b-100

I noticed a panel is missing from my b100, I can make a new one if needed but I haven’t found a good picture of it. 
question is, is it supposed to have ammeter in the panel?

 Side note, if anyone has one, I would be interested in purchase.

Not an amp meter…I think the voltage regulator goes in that space.

Sparky you are correct.  I will look tomorrow to see if the one I have in the barn is worth anything

Dash Looks different, mine is 1977,

Dash could be a tad different but I believe the regulator and gauge definitely goes below.  I think the b100 I have is 76. I’ll look tomorrow for you see if it’s any good or not

Originally it was the regulator and ammeter. The ammeter often gets swapped out for a voltmeter. My 76 here.

A lot of replacement engines have the regulator mounted here. 40 engine hours ago I put a rebuilt K-341 on it and went back to the original style regulator. 

 

 

The engine in this picture is the K-341 I installed in the 70's.

I went to barn and had a look, regulator is mounted on the engine.

Fab would be  easy if you have a template.
